Who We Are and What We Do
The Sandwich Town Archives is a place where the past and present come together. Researchers will find records of historical significance and value, from Sandwich census information to old postcards with Sandwich scenes. There is a bit of history for everyone to glimpse, no matter what the interest. The primary purpose of the Archives is to collect, maintain, preserve, and make available historic materials to researchers and anyone interested in local history.
Support the Archives
Special projects for the Archives are funded primarily from Friends of the Sandwich Town Archives (FOSTA) through their annual membership drive. The Archives also participates in collaborative grant writing with the Sandwich Public Library. We currently need to create databases for holdings, and convert photographs to a digital format.
