Hotspots may be reserved through the library catalog, or by calling the library (508) 888-0625 during regular library hours.
The Sandwich Public Library Hotspot Borrower policy is available here.
When you check out a hotpsot, you'll receive:
1 T-Mobile Hotspot
1 USB-C Wall Charger
1 Instruction Card
1 Hotspot Case
Any patron with an adult OCLN library card may borrow a hotspot. Hotspot borrowers must be at least 18 years old with a card in good standing.
Hotspots may be borrowed for 1 week. $1 per day if overdue.
Renewals are not permitted; however, if there are no holds on the hotspot, and the hotspot was returned on time, a patron may checkout the hotspot again.
If hotspots aren’t returned within 2 days after the due date, service will be turned off. After returning a late hotspot, a patron will not be permitted to borrow another hotspot for 48 hours, regardless of availability.
The hotspot must be returned during regular library hours to the main circulation desk at the Sandwich Public Library. DO NOT return the hotspot in the book drop, as it could be damaged.
