The Sandwich Public Library is participating in the 2024 Booktober Library Crawl!
The Booktober Library Crawl is a collaborative program between 21 Libraries in the Old Colony Library Network. The Crawl runs from Monday, October 7 through Saturday, November 2.
Simply pick up your Booktober Library Crawl Passport at any participating library and visit at least five libraries to be eligible to win a prize basket! For a complete list of participating libraries, visit: https://malibraryroadtrip.com/booktober.
There are several fun events planned for kids and adults at all of the participating libraries during the Crawl timeframe, so be sure to check them out on our website!

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then Tech Thursdays is for you!
Book a 20 minute appointment with our Reference Librarian, Brian by selecting a date below. You can also stop by during a session and he'll do his best to fit you in. After you register, Brian will contact you with your designated time, either by email or phone.

Check out our new language app
called Mango!
Mango provides the tools and guidance you need to expand your language skills whenever and however you learn best! It prepares learners for realistic conversations and communication in over 70 world languages including American Sign Language! You can use the web based version or the app, whichever appeals to you.
Please note the following new guidelines for donations:
- Donations of 20 books/puzzles or less can be dropped off and reviewed if possible.
- All donations must be brought directly by the donor to the Book Sale Room on the lower level.
- Volunteers will review your donation of books and puzzles and reserve the right to refuse any donation.
- The Book Sale does NOT accept CDs, DVDs, encyclopedias, dictionaries, Readers' Digest condensed books, magazines, or moldy or damaged items.
