This unique and original work of art by local artist Alfie Glover is now on display on the Sandwich Public Library lawn. 

ABOUT THE ART: This 9 foot arch structure depicts five important Sandwich buildings: The Boston & Sandwich Glass Factory, First Church (with Elvis!), Hoxie House, Grist Mill and Historic Town Hall. The piece was generously funded by the Glass Town Cultural District Steering Committee through a grant from Mass Cultural Council.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Alfred Glover is an artist based in Cataumet. His work has been displayed along the East Coast, including; Heritage Museum and Gardens, Highfield Hall in Falmouth,  The Cahoon Museum in Cotuit, MA, Cape Cod Museum of Art, Long Pasture in Barnstable/The Audubon Society, Odin Smith Gallery in Chatham, MA, and Scargo Pottery in Dennis, MA.
