In-library use only. Users must enter a Sandwich Public Library card number. A genealogical tool containing more than 1.5 billion names in over 4,000 databases.
It includes vital records, census data, World War I draft registrations, passenger lists and much more.
Records for Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland can also be accessed.

Ellis Island Foundation
Free searchable database of passenger lists and photos between 1892-1924.  Free registration required.

Massachusetts Archives
Includes information about records kept at MassArchives and at other institutions.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Family Search
Comprehensive site containing information about starting family history, finding ancestors in their records collection, links to other genealogical websites, and the Family History Library Catalog.

Social Security Death Index
An index to basic information about people with social security numbers whose deaths have been reported to the Social Security Administration. About 98% of the people in the SSDI died after 1962, but some death dates go back as far as 1937.

Located in Ft. Wayne, IN, its' collection contains more than 350,000 printed volumes, including family histories; census records;  city directories; and more; and one of the largest English language genealogy and local history periodical collections in the world.
